The 6th grade students in my school went to pyeongchang and samcheok on a school excursion. We went to some great places and did fun activities. I’ll tell you about the places we went to and the activities we did.
The first place that I want to tell you about is a cave called hwanseon. Hwanseon is located in a mountain so we had to get on a monorail to get there or we have to walk a lot. Inside the cave there is a sign that tells people information about it, so we were able to know what material it was made of and how it was formed. Also there was an “extreme bridge” it was named extreme bridge because it moves from side to side when people cross it. Another scary thing is the deep river under the bridge. Imagine how scary it is. Sometimes we see animals like bats when we are lucky.
The next activity we did was the samcheok rail bike. I think it was the most enjoyable activity in the trip. We needed one hour to finish the trail. We had to maintain distance from the other rail bikes. There were many special courses that we could use. We started in fir tree road.
Trees covered the sunlight we didn’t have to worry about sunburn, and after eight – 10 minutes we were able to see three tunnels, but they were not ordinary tunnels!
The first one was decorated with scary things like spiders, skeletons and some other insects.
The second and the third tunnels showed laser performance. It felt very special and it was really new to us.
We did a lot more activities during the trip, but some of them were not very fun. I hope this essay will be useful when you make plans to visit the place.
