Note: This e-mail's actually from last night. I wasn't able to send it because¡¦ well, I'm one big technological disaster¡¦ a computer idiot to put it simply. Hehe. So, here it is¡¦

Hey, crazy girl! Hehehe. Before anything else, thanks for taking the time to leave me a message. I've been with Eman2man for some months now, but this is the first time a student has written to me, and I'm ecstatic! I enjoy writing and receiving letters and emails, so anytime you are bored, can't sleep, or you simply feel like writing, just hit me up. =)

Now I'm wondering about what could have nearly driven you to tears last night. Hmm, could it be your awfully boring life? Oh, if I was in your shoes, I'd be crying oceans of tears everyday, too! Hahaha! Nah, kidding. ;) It's okay to cry though, regardless of whether you have a reason or not. I do that all the time. I'm so silly; I cry over movies, books, art, the sunset, the rain¡¦ I cry over everything, and, sometimes, I cry over nothing. Sure, there'd be moments when you'd start feeling like such a chicken, but the relief afterwards is like nothing else. Crying has actually become my catharsis. You should try it, too! ;)

Now, on pessimism¡¦ I'm pretty much just as pessimistic as you are, if not worse, but I try--or pretend-- to be optimistic for the people I love and care about. Negativity can sometimes be infectious, and I don't like being the black hole that sucks the light out of other people's lives, so I cover up that dark cynical side of me and put on this sunny fa?de. But, on second thought, pessimism does not always have to be detrimental either; we can use it in a positive way, too, however ironic that sounds. It can keep us on our toes and motivate us. So as long as we use it as a driving force rather than as a discouragement, I guess pessimism is okay. =) Though¡¦ there are also moments when I get unreasonably negative, and during those times, I just tell myself that other people are going through worse plights; it is like, while I'm crying about not having shoes, other people don't have feet¡¦ and yet they are able to endure the burdens of life. So, why not me and why not you, right? I really think you'll fare well in life, Nina¡¦ simply because you have what it takes. ;)

Oh, I'm babbling and this e-mail's really long now, so I'll end it here. See you in class tomorrow and I hope to hear something nice out of your terminally monotonous life (though I don't really expect anything). Hehehe. Later, Nina¡¦

xoxo
